This makes the juiciest chicken I’ve ever tasted. Racking the chicken onto the spit is as easy as it looks on TV. The same goes for removing it when done. Clean up is a snap. There’s plenty of room for a plump chicken or a couple of Cornish hens. I haven’t tried a turkey yet, but I roasted veggies in the spinning basket. Delicious!
I love the pause feature that allows me to stop the spit from turning so that I can add crispiness to any part of the bird. The pan in the bottom collects the juices. I make soup with it later.
